In its Soundhub-S format the TiMax2 control software provides sound designers with an advanced real-time audio showcontrol machine for running live shows and events. The Soundhub-R version gives systems integrators and contractors a comprehensive set of audio routing, mixing, processing and playback resources with versatile remote control options.

Each T2 SoundHub system incorporates a scaleable multi-channel audio matrix and mix engine to handle multiple sources and multiple zones in a variety of performance and presentation AV installations ranging from museum, themed attraction, boardroom and hotel through to bars, clubs, theatre, opera and house of worship.

The compact 2U chassis provides 16 input and 16 outputs in analog or AES3 format which is expandable up to 64x64. Optional industry-standard audio networking interfaces include Cobranet and Ethersound with full redundancy.

Every TiMax2 matrix crosspoint provides not just level adjustment for multiple source mixing and zone distribution. There is also the TiMax speciality of individual delay adjustment at each matrix crosspoint for setting up static or dynamically variable Haas-effect audio localisation.

Accurate audio imaging is vital for directing a group of listeners to a specific performer on stage, a particular exhibit in a museum attraction, or a certain presentation speaker. This directly enhances intelligibility and message impact at the same time as providing uniform sound distribution.

To help cover all the bases, TiMax2 also provides input and output parametric EQ for source sweetening and room tuning, and built-in 64-track audio playback and recording compatible with multiple file formats.

All this is programmed and configured with an external computer which can then be removed to allow the user to local or remote access to selected functions under multi-level password security.

For the ultimate-safety conscious installer TiMax2 also offers the option of input relay bypass, dual-mirrored audio playback hard-disks or flash drives, dual power supplies and fans, even an extra ac cord.
